Day one hundred – Sex change

A Saturday, hence my day off. Usual sort of thing – milk tea with Yogi, then out to Aparna’s for lunch, stopping off en route to buy her some Indian sweets. Met a friend of hers there, Narendra, an Indian who now lives and works in Korea, with a Korean wife. He is very much into all sorts of meditation, and has a business importing various related artefacts from India and Nepal – singing bowls, gongs, etc. He had stopped off for a bite of lunch, en route to Rishikesh, an Indian city particularly famed for its ashrams and meditation centres. He too had brought Indian sweets, from the very same place, though considerably more than I had. We chatted amiably for a short while, before he got back into his taxi… as it happened the very same one who had brought Val up here from Delhi.

A pleasant lunch, and some playing with Aparna’s newest acquisition, a kitten. It had, on the suggestion of Eva, been named Juliet, but recently i9t had been discovered that it was a misnomer, and so is now Romeo.
