It was an enormous relief when the light finally appeared in the sky, simply because it meant the night was over. But it had no effect whatever on my bodily pattern, having to pop out to the bathroom on a very regular basis, even when I’d gone beyond the point of having anything left in my stomach. I drank one heck of a lot of lemon squash, so in the end I reckon I was shitting pure lemon. Val was most definitely the ministering angel, doing all she could do to make sure I was comfortable, no easy task when one’s room is on the 4th floor. I thought the day would be horrifically long, but in fact it passed easily enough – I was surprised to see the light fading again. My visits to the toilet were becoming less frequent, + I had hopes of some sleep.
Hm, yet another entry entirely given over to the state of my bowels; not very edifying. And so the opportunity to select another photo, though not especially relevant. Actually, two photos, of Durbar Square, in sunshine and in rain.
