Still making virtually no progress with virtually no wind, so Doug decided to motor, at least for a while.  A diesel engine is noisy + smelly + expensive, but sitting slopping in the ocean is not much fun either.  Otherwise a day like any other + rather more sunny too.  Reading + beer + breakfast + lunch + chatting.  Doug’s turn for dinner – a veritable feast, as usual – kidneys in a thick gravy, with roast potatoes, roast onions, + roast pumpkin, the last excellent.

Short entry, so short comment.  And all about food.  Doug really seems to enjoy an old British style of cuisine… and that suits us well too.
